Laser Poplar Plywood

Poplar plywood is a lightweight engineered wood panel made by bonding multiple thin layers (veneers) of poplar wood together with alternating grain directions. This cross-laminated construction improves stability, reduces warping, and provides a strong yet easy-to-handle sheet material suitable for a wide range of interior applications.

Known for its pale, uniform colour and smooth surface, poplar plywood is often favoured where a clean, natural appearance is required. It has fewer knots and imperfections compared to many hardwood plywoods, making it easier to paint, veneer, laminate or finish to a high standard.

Please note that we will of course endeavour to supply flat sheets, however, due to the fact that Plywood is a natural product it is impossible to guarantee perfectly flat sheets and unavoidable warping may occur. This product is therefore sold on the strict understanding of the above and we cannot accept any responsibility if it is not suitable for your projects.

It may be necessary to tape the wood to the laser bed or use magnets.
