MAKING YOUR OWN CLOCK
The standard quartz clock movement is the heart of this project and can be used with a wide range of age groups. Many schools or colleges have not only used clock movements for individual projects but also business enterprise groups to make and sell clocks. Fitting is simple,
all the design requires is a 10mm centre hole (see diagram to left). Spindle length required depends on thickness of the dial/case as shown below. The hands can be altered from front or rear and it is supplied complete with fittings.
